PEPPER MUSHROOM 



I have tasted mushroom pepper fry in a restaurant  and I wanted to recreate the hotel style pepper mushroom at home too….I tried in two style South Indian Style and Chinese Style...I wanted to share both with with all....I took a pack of small button mushrooms and made this spicy mushroom pepper fry yesterday to pair it along with pulao and it turned out finger lickingly good that the curry was almost over soon after I clicked, So I made one more that's South Indian style mushrooms to pair it with Phulka's for lunch. Mushroom is my favourite dish, is otherwise known as kalan here in coimbatore.😊

Mushroom Pepper Fry Recipe

MUSHROOMS-1CUP
BIG ONIONS-CUT LONG SLICED
CAPSICUM(bell pepper)-CHOPPED
GARLIC AND GINGER PASTE-1/2 TBSP
PEPPER-5 TO 6
FENNEL SEEDS-1/4TSP
GREEN CHILLI-1 CHOPPED
RED CHILLI POWDER-1/2TSP
CURRY LEAVES- 4TO5 LEAVES
GARAM MASALA-1/2 tsp
cORIANDER POWDER-1/2 TSP
SALT -TO TASTE


Method:





  • Dry roast whole pepper for 2-3 mins or till nice aroma comes.Powder it coarsely,Set aside. Heat oil in a pan -Add Curry leaves Green chilli Onion Garlic and ginger paste, and chopped Capsicum.
  • Add mushrooms and saute well.It will start leaving water,then add pepper powder,Coriander,Red Chilli and Garam masala powders and mix well. Cook in low medium flame for 5-7 mins till mushrooms turn soft and the masala's come together. Add required salt, give a quick mix garnish with coriander leaves and switch off. 
  • Serve hot with Rice Or Pulkas. Can have even like tat it taste yum😊

    SOYA SAUCE-1 TSP
    GREEN CHILLI SAUCE- 1TSP
    TOMATO SAUCE-1/4 TSP
    HOT PEPPER SAUCE- 1 TSP
    CURRY LEAVES- 4 TO 5 LEAVES
    SPRING ONION-TO GARNISH
    SALT -TO TASTE

    METHOD:

    2.  Add Soya ,Red and Green Chilli Hot pepper Tomato sauce, Add mushrooms 1 Tbsp of cornstarch(Optional). Mix well and allow it to cook in low medium flame for 5 to 6 mins till mushroom are soft and it dry there must be no water. Switch off the gas.Garnish with Spring Onions .Serve Hot.😊
